My house is sold!

My counter offer was accepted so now I have to be out of my house by April 1st. Guess we need to step up the house shopping!

Sold!

Mike's townhouse is sold! He got his asking price, but has to be out by the 17th of March! My house got an offer yesterday, but I refused because they wanted to pay $2000 less than I was asking and wanted me to pay 3% at closing. No deal! I countered with a price $2600 more than my asking price which will give them their closing money, and still give me $2000 less than my asking price. So we'll see. They have until noon tomorrow to get back to me. Both of our houses have been on the market for less than a week, so I can wait a little.

Now to find a house. So far we've seen some we like, but not that one yet that we LOVE! On Tuesday we have about 12 more to look at so we'll see. Otherwise all four of us will end up living in an apartment! Now wouldn't that be fun! Wish us luck!
