Busy!

The guy who is working on my basement fixed my lawn mower and I learned how to mulch the grass! Can't believe I've had that mower and never knew how to mulch. The front lawn is looking shaggy so I may need to mow that this evening or tomorrow.

Last night I went to get some vinyl for my new bathroom and Chelsea's truck broke down. Fortunately my neighbor, Earl, came to my rescue. He took me to Home Depot to get the vinyl while I contacted my insurance and arranged a tow truck. Fortunately I got the towing protection when I insured the truck. Looks like it needs either a fuel filter or a fuel pump. It will be awhile before that gets fixed though because I need to pay for this basement first!

I have about a half hours worth of work in the basement before I can put down the plastic and cover the windows for painting. It probably won't get painted until tomorrow, so hopefully it will still be done by tomorrow night so I can get most of the big furniture back in. My scrapbooking stuff will have to wait a little longer so I can sort through it all. I have way too much stuff!

I am moving a book case from my room to Eline's room today and then getting a small table so that I can set up the computer in my room. I really don't want it there but the only other option is the dining area, and I definitely don't want it there. There will also be another computer in the family room. With 3 users in the house we need at least 2 computers. On my wish list is a laptop, but that will have to wait.

Eline left the Netherlands today and will spend a couple of days in NYC getting an orientation from our host company, AYUSA. Her mother sent me a sad email. I dread when Chelsea goes off to college, so I can't even imagine what it would be like to send her to another country for 9 months.

Well, I have plenty to do today so I'd better get started.
