Look What I'm Getting!

I have been looking for an MP3 player for my daughter for awhile. She wanted an iPod Nano, but I really think iPods are overpriced for what you get. I found this great Creative Zen Micro Photo which has 8 GB of memory for less than a 2 GB Nano. This also has a built in FM receiver, can display photos, has a voice recorder and can hold documents as well. I ordered her an orange one since that's been her favorite color for several years. I also decided to order one for me. I got the dark blue one. I had a hard time deciding on color, first considering the green (too flashy), then the black (too conservative), then the purple (too expensive and hard to find). I settled on the dark blue, which is colorful without being over the top! Both should be here in a few days. They are birthday presents for each of us.

This is the first real present I've gotten for my b-day in many years. Having an only child, with no money and no grown up to take her shopping or help with a project, means I usually get breakfast in bed and a great card, which I love. But now I am just going to spoil myself for once! And of course spoil her, too, but that is a more frequent occurance.
