I'm feeling better today, especially since I got lucky and won tickets to the America concert at the fair. My friends, Bob and Carol, won earlier in the day and also won a free fair pass. They called me and I decided to go out to the fair and walk around for awhile. Carol took me over to the radio booth where she won her tickets and I signed up. The drawing was scheduled for 3:00 and so at the appointed time I went to the booth and asked if I'd won. And I did! I am starting to think that I was the only one in the drawing since the booth was deserted both times I was there, with the exception of the two guys working it. In fact, I don't even know what radio station it was!

Carol also turned me on to a booth that does vinyl lettering. I have one of these in my dining room. It has a large "Blessings" and then in smaller letters it says "count your many blessings". I wanted to get one for Chelsea that said "Reach for the moon. Even if you miss you'll land in the stars." This is a quote from Sasha Cohen who is her current favorite sports star. I think it is a very inspirational saying and I know Chelsea will be excited to see it when she gets home. I also got a soccer ball with her number "17" for on the car.

I am going to take a short snooze so I am up to the rowdy concert. I need all my energy to be a good groupie!
